Top of the World Lounge (TOWL) is atop the Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It is exclusive to Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members. Access is granted to DVC members staying at any Disney owned and operated hotel at Walt Disney World Resort whether their stay is booked with vacation points or cash.
This perk is available exclusively to DVC Members and those in their traveling party who are staying on that member’s reservation. At least one member in the traveling party must accompany the group. The DVC member must present his or her valid MagicBand in order to gain admission to the lounge and observation deck. You can also have a Key to the World card with a DVC Membership notation to gain entrance. If the member’s MagicBand or Key to the World card does not display a Membership notation, a Disney Vacation Club Membership Card is required in addition to the Key to the World card to verify Membership.
Please note that DVC members traveling from other Walt Disney World Resorts must use Walt Disney World Transportation to get to the TOWL. Parking is unavailable to anyone not staying at Bay Lake Tower or Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Upon arrival, members and their guests must walk to the Bay Lake Tower main lobby entrance on the ground floor. The DVC member would check-in at the Top of the World Lounge desk in the lobby. The desk is currently on the left side of the lobby when you walk through the front door.
This special Top of the World Lounge access is available on a first-come, first-served basis until the lounge reaches capacity. The lounge is particularly popular during the Magic Kingdom fireworks. It is best to arrive as early as possible in order to be able to gain admission.
It is important to keep in mind that this access has blockout dates each year. Be sure to check the current blockout dates on DVC website before you go. Current operating hours are 6:00 PM to midnight.
