ATTENTION: Any Walt Disney World vacations with booked arrivals as of January 1, 2022, Disney’s Magical Express will not be offered. The service will cease operations as of that date. They will continue to operate the service for new and existing reservations made at WDW resort hotels for arrivals throughout 2021. Here is the process from your house through to your departure date at Orlando International Airport.
Pre-Arrival
Guests will be responsible for picking up any of their checked luggage from the airport’s baggage claim area, so that it can be loaded onto the motorcoach to their Disney Resort hotel. Please know that your luggage will travel with you to your Disney Resort hotel.
If you have not received your MagicBand, please be prepared to present your Disney’s Magical Express confirmation letter—mailed separately to you—to board the motorcoach. You will receive your MagicBand upon arrival at your Disney Resort hotel. If you have a Disney’s Magical Express reservation, but do not have the confirmation letter, be ready to present government-issued photo identification and a Cast Member will assist you.
Traveling with Service Animals and Pets
Service animals may travel on Disney’s Magical Express motorcoaches in the passenger cabin with their owners.
Pet dogs may travel on Disney’s Magical Express motorcoaches if their owners are staying at one of the 4 pet-friendly Disney Resort hotels. Dogs must ride in the motorcoach’s passenger cabin in an owner-provided pet carrier, which fits safely in a seat.

We recommend you view and print out a map of Orlando International Airport, including the location of Disney’s Magical Express, before you leave home.
Arrival
Domestic Arrivals
Take the tram from your arrival gate to the main terminal, disembarking on Level 3. You will need to claim your luggage on Level 2 before proceeding to Disney’s Magical Express service located in the Ground Transportation Area in Terminal B, Level 1.
Guests claiming their luggage in Terminal A of the airport must return to Level 3 to cross to Terminal B before continuing to Level 1. Upon arrival at Disney’s Magical Express service, please let us know if you will need assistance boarding the motorcoach.
International Arrivals
Upon exiting your aircraft, enter the U.S. Immigration checkpoint. After retrieving your luggage, proceed to the Customs checkpoint.
When exiting the Customs area, keep your checked bags with you to travel on the motorcoach.
Take the tram to the main terminal building where you will arrive on Level 3. Disney’s Magical Express service is located in Terminal B, Level 1. Guests arriving in Terminal A of the airport are advised to cross to Terminal B before proceeding down to Level 1. Upon arrival, please let us know if you will need assistance boarding the motorcoach.
Arrival at Your Disney Resort Hotel
Luggage assistance will be available at the front of your Disney Resort hotel, including luggage storage and/or transport to the room.
Departure
The day before checkout, a Transportation Notice will be delivered to your room. The departure time and place for your motor coach ride back to Orlando International Airport is listed on this notice. (Must provide Disney with your return flight information when making your reservation.)
To ensure you do not miss your flight, motor coach departure times are scheduled to allow time for you to travel to Orlando International Airport and proceed to your airline gate. Please note that it is your responsibility to bring your luggage to the departure point. Bell services is available upon request.
Be sure to have your Transportation Notice on hand when it is time for your Disney’s Magical Express departure. Your motor coach driver will collect the Transportation Notice prior to boarding. Please note: MagicBands cannot be used to check-in for your trip from your Disney Resort hotel to Orlando International Airport.
